CILcare is Sponsoring BIO Korea 2021 & Organizing a Hearing Workshop

BIO Korea is an elite Korean event that gathers experts and academics from the bio industry, not only to present technological information, but mostly to connect innovative actors from the industry to create and discuss opportunities. Taking place on June 9-11 2021, the event will be held at the same time online and in Seoul. BIO Korea being a reference from the region, CILcare will be sponsoring the event to develop fruitful relationships and opportunities to further innovate and make hearing a priority.

It is with that goal in mind that CILcare will be organizing and chairing on June 10th at 3pm KST / 8 am CET a workshop entitled “Latest Advances About Aging Effect On Hearing Loss”, an increasingly prevalent health issue that is the third leading cause of chronic disability worldwide. This workshop, moderated by Jay H Park, aims at discussing the latest research about ageing effect on hearing loss, including the physiopathology of hearing loss and impact of noise exposure to gain insights on possible treatments. KOLs from the field will be conducting presentations during the workshop:

  • Dr Sungyoung Kim, iN Therapeutics: Kv7.4, a novel target for treatment of noise-induced hearing loss
