This year in Utrecht, <strong>Cilcare is proud to support the event as a sponsor<\/strong> and to contribute to the scientific program with <strong>four posters covering complementary aspects of auditory research<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Our contributions span <strong>3D bioprinting in vitro model, cochlear inflammation, synaptopathy and the link between systemic autoimmunity and hearing loss<\/strong>, reflecting the breadth of Cilcare\u2019s research in auditory science.<\/p><h1><strong>3D bioprinting for inner ear drug delivery<\/strong><\/h1><p><em><strong>Gabin Junior Endjeu Tchouassi<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>As part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cilcare.com\/jp\/2025\/06\/23\/cilcare-launches-a-groundbreaking-3d-bioprinting-project-with-human-cells-to-advance-therapies-for-hearing-disorders\/\"><strong>INEAR3D<\/strong><\/a>, a collaborative project supported by the <strong>University of Montpellier and its P\u00f4le Universitaire d\u2019Innovation (PEI)<\/strong> and conducted in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umontpellier.fr\/en\/recherche\/poles-de-recherche\/pole-chimie\/institut-de-chimie-moleculaire-et-des-materiaux-institut-charles-gerhardt-montpellier-icgm\"><strong>Institut Charles Gerhardt de Montpellier (ICGM)<\/strong><\/a>, Cilcare is developing a <strong>3D <em>in vitro<\/em> model of the round window membrane<\/strong> using bioprinting technologies. The model aims to reproduce key features of the membrane and provide a human-relevant platform to study drug diffusion and support the development of new inner ear delivery strategies.<\/p><h1><strong>Cochlear inflammation and hearing loss<\/strong><\/h1><p><em><strong>Karine Toupet, PhD<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>This study compares <strong>cochlear immune responses across different models of hearing loss and inflammation<\/strong>, highlighting differences in macrophage responses and inflammatory pathways depending on the nature of the injury.<\/p><h1><strong>Rheumatoid arthritis and hearing loss: investigating the immune connection<\/strong><\/h1><p><em><strong>Louis-Antoine Milazzo<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>This study develops a <strong>murine model linking rheumatoid arthritis and sensorineural hearing loss<\/strong> and provides initial evidence of immune cell alterations within the cochlea, offering a new framework to investigate the mechanisms linking systemic autoimmunity and auditory dysfunction.<\/p><h1><strong>From transient hearing loss to cochlear synaptopathy<\/strong><\/h1><p><em><strong>Marianne Aincy, PhD<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>This study compares different noise exposure paradigms to establish <strong>preclinical models of transient hearing loss and cochlear synaptopathy<\/strong>.
