Boston, MA \u2013 October 7, 2026 – Cilcare, a biotechnology company pioneering auditory science, today announced the appointment of Kevin Franck, PhD, MBA<\/a>, as Head of US, General Manager North America. Based in Washington DC, Dr. Franck will lead Cilcare’s growth strategy across North America, with a focus on expanding Cilcare’s partnering strategy around its clinical and R&D platforms.<\/strong><\/p>

Dr. Franck brings more than 25 years of experience across clinical audiology, hearing science, medical device & product development, clinical research, commercialization, and biotech leadership. Most recently, he served as Chief Clinical Officer at Otolith Labs<\/strong><\/a>, following his role as SVP of Strategic Marketing and New Product Planning at Frequency Therapeutics<\/strong>, where he led pre-commercial and pre-launch planning, clinical strategy, business development, and engagement with strategic partners, KOLs, investors, and other stakeholders.<\/p>

Earlier in his career, Kevin was Director of Audiology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston<\/strong><\/a>, where he led a large clinical audiology organization and its research activities, while continuing to provide care to adults and children using cochlear implants, hearing aids, and consumer hearing devices. He also held a faculty position in Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

Kevin Franck previously spent several years at Cochlear Limited<\/strong><\/a>, where he was Head of Clinical and Audiological Products and Strategy, leading the development and implementation of clinical and audiological products and strategies aimed at improving outcomes for people with hearing loss. He also held a senior product and marketing role at Bose<\/strong><\/a>, where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of an emerging business focused on hearing loss.<\/p>

With a Ph.D. in Hearing Science from the University of Washington, an M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. in Healthcare Management from Wharton, Kevin brings a particularly strong combination of scientific, clinical, business, and patient-focused expertise to Cilcare.<\/p>
