Regina KELMANN, Ph.D
Senior Scientist

Dr. Kelmann is a Senior Scientist combining hands-on expertise in preclinical hearing research with a strong academic and translational research background. She contributes to the design and execution of innovative otology projects, including the development of preclinical study protocols, auditory function assessments, data analysis, and interpretation of results to support the advancement of novel hearing therapeutics.

Prior to joining Cilcare, Regina conducted postdoctoral research at Dr. Richard Bellucci Translational Hearing Center, Creighton University, investigating mechanisms of hearing loss and therapeutic approaches for noise-, age-, and drug-induced hearing impairment. Her work contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in auditory science.

Background

Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), postdoctoral fellow at Dr. Richard J. Bellucci Translational Hearing Center (Creighton University, USA) investigating hearing loss mechanisms in Down syndrome and other auditory pathologies
