Dr. Dejean, having earned her PhD in 2024, is a passionate neuroscientist focused on pathologies affecting the nervous system, including Alzheimer’s disease and hearing disorders. Her research explores neurodegenerative and aging-related conditions, driving her dedication to advancing the understanding of these complex challenges. Camille’s PhD work centered on developing an awake animal model for monitoring tinnitus and hyperacusis, conducted in partnership with Cilcare and the Institut Pasteur in Paris. She specializes in tinnitus assessment using the Gap-Prepulse Inhibition of the Acoustic Startle reflex (GPIAS) technique, a key method for evaluating auditory processing in rodent models.
