Sandra is a neurobiology researcher with over 10 years of experience in academic research. An expert in pharmacology using murine models, she has extensive hands-on experience with stereotaxic surgeries, tissue sampling, histology, and the characterization of murine models. She specializes in creating in vitro models of human spinal cord cell lines to produce oligodendrocytes and in studying cell differentiation mechanisms through biochemistry and RNA-seq/proteomic analysis. Sandra’s research at the University of Montreal in Canada helped refine her skills in cell biology and scientific protocol writing. At Cilcare, she leverages her broad expertise to manage preclinical studies and drive the development of innovative treatments for hearing disorders.
PhD in neural stem cells from the CRCHUM in Montreal, postdoctoral research in neuro-oncology at the Brain Institute in Paris, and postdoctoral research in neural stem cells and neuro-oncology at the Institute of Functional Genomics in Montpellier
