Montpellier, France– September 3, 2026 – Cilcare, a biotechnology company dedicated to advancing therapies and precision medicine solutions for hearing disorders, today announced the appointment of Dr. Louis Delamarre as Medical Director of Translational Research. With over a decade of experience in clinical translational research and multidisciplinary patient care, Dr. Delamarre will oversee the strategic and operational transition of Cilcare’s assets from preclinical research to clinical development.
An anesthesiologist and critical care physician, Dr. Delamarre brings a strong clinical experience gained at leading French university hospitals, including expertise in neurosurgery, interventional neuroradiology, and severe trauma care. In his new role, Dr. Delamarre will lead Cilcare’s medical and translational research strategy, supporting the advancement of the Company’s therapeutic pipeline and precision medicine programs. He will oversee observational studies designed to identify early auditory dysfunction in at-risk populations, contribute to the development and validation of innovative biomarkers, and strengthen collaborations with clinical investigators, key opinion leaders, and academic partners worldwide.

Dr. Delamarre received his medical degree from Toulouse University Hospital and completed a specialization in anesthesiology and intensive care, followed by a PhD in Occupational Health and Statistics. Authors of more than 35 publications, he has been a reviewer for Intensive Care Medicine since 2024.
